I was born in Palo Alto, California, and in only a few years, I knew I was a designer…it was literally in my DNA as the first born daughter of an artist/teacher mother and an engineer father (at Hewlet Packard for 31 years!). I graduated from UCLA’s design school and was off and running. My career has taken me around the globe, working and living in Australia and Europe, and landed me back in San Francisco, California in 1997.

During the dot com boom days, I co-founded a boutique tech studio, Mighty Assembly, designing and building software. After designing and writing a creative tech book with one of my all time favorite teams, I decided to stop sitting for 12+ hours a day, and turn my passion for interiors into my next venture.

In 2002, I founded Mighty Industries to focus on interior and product design. MIGHTY has stayed in the name of my companies because the word demands that I do and be my best. In addition to my seasoned design, client and business management skills, that means consistently being trustworthy, authentic and reliable.
